The Polycarbonate Carboy is made from a clear USP Class VI, FDA Grade autoclavable material. This Carboy is suitable for aqueous solutions, as well as most life sciences buffer solutions. The recommended autoclaving cycle is 15 PSI for 20 minutes at 121 DEG C.
These carboy come in a distinctive rectangular shape that saves valuable bench space and features a wide-mouth design for easy filling and cleaning. The carboy body is ergonomically designed, with large top handles and molded hand grips in the base, allowing the user to easily hold and manipulate during filling, lifting, and pouring. Additionally, the EZBio Carboy can be coupled with our patented VersaCap Technology, providing interchangeable and leak-proof top connections. Our caps are molded not machined, to eliminate particles or weakness. The EZBio Carboy features easy-to-read metric graduation marks certified to +/-5 accuracy (+/- 10 for 75L). The carboy material is molded into the side for easy identification, and tells the user if it can be Autoclaved or not.
